Alana Dietze (Young Rose) – Favorite on stage work includes: Fugue, Bob, God’s Ear, and Everything Will Be Different (Ovation nominated for Best Leading Actress, Best Ensemble, and Best Play) with the Echo Theater Company, Lady Macbeth in Macbeth with the Vagrancy, The Hillary Game, Villon, and The Hive Project with Padua Playwrights, Lascivious Something with Circle X, Possum Carcass, What May Fall, Have You Seen Alice?, Shake, and Nibbler with Theatre of NOTE. Favorite on screen work includes the independent features Dark Space, Ok,Good and an upcoming project tentatively titled Rainer Maria Rilke, the short films Cactus, Great Things, The Magic Bullet, and Someplace Better Than Here, and the web series Fragility and Sidetracked. Alana is also a director, primarily with the Echo Theater Company. Productions include: The Found Dog Ribbon Dance, DRY LAND, and A Small Fire (4 Ovation, 1 LADCC, and 2 Stage Raw nominations). DRY LAND won the 2016 Ovation Award for Best Production (Intimate theater). It is nominated for four Stage Raw Awards including Best Director and Best Production. The production was remounted at the Kirk Douglas Theatre in the inaugural year of Center Theater Group’s prestigious Block Party program.
